José Rafael Figueroa Rodriguez Born in Caracas, Venezuela on December 25, 1976,  is a graduate of the Nueva Esparta University in Caracas, in the Systems Area and with studies at the National Experimental University of the Armed Forces UNEFA, Master in Information Technology and Communication MTIC. Throughout his work experience he becomes Specialist and Instructor in Linux and Unix platforms with International Certification in Oracle Solaris platform. He is qualified to plan, organize and direct the activities carried out by the group of systems implantation, as well as to advise third parties in the identification and valuation of alternatives of their platform.
He started aquatic and underwater activities in 2009 following a spinal injury when he became a Martial Artist; Begins swimming therapeutically and by rehabilitation, forming part of the Baruta Master Swimming Club of Baruta and competing in various activities of swimming pool and open water. In 2010 he participated in the introductory course to the underwater activities of the Central University of Venezuela – UCV (CASAUCV), obtaining excellent marks and remaining active in the courses of said school. He took courses in Scuba CMAS, Underwater Fishing; Not conforming to this continues training Swimming with Flippers, Underwater Rugby and Apnea; Leaning towards the last one where it has participated in several national championships.
Currently, he is part of the Master Swimming CCV team, Underwater Rugby Caribes of Club Escamas where he has participated in the Metropolitan League and Tournaments in this discipline, given his career and recommendations manages to be selected as Freedive Instructor of the School of Special Operations Of the Venezuelan Navy.
